Features

Biomass Briquette Hot Water Boiler

The VST-SERIES is a high-performance, vertical smoke-tube hot water boiler engineered for industries seeking a sustainable and cost-effective heating solution. Designed specifically to utilize renewable energy sources like Biomass Briquettes and Wood Logs, the VST-Series delivers reliable thermal energy while significantly reducing operational fuel costs compared to oil or gas-fired systems.

Operating Range

  • Capacity – 50000 Kcal/Hr. to 3 lac Kcal/Hr.
  • Fuel- Wood Log, Biomass Briquette
  • Temperature- up-to 90℃

Advanced Design & Thermal Efficiency

The VST-Series features a robust Vertical Single-Pass smoke-tube configuration. The main heat exchanger consists of high-quality flue tubes precision-fitted between the front and rear tube sheets.

To ensure maximum heat absorption, the combustion furnace is strategically located at the bottom of the main shell. This design allows for a natural upward flow of hot gases, ensuring rapid water heating and a compact footprint that fits easily into smaller mechanical rooms.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Renewable Fuel Flexibility: Optimized for Biomass Briquettes and Wood Logs, allowing you to leverage locally available, carbon-neutral fuels.
  • Vertical Compact Design: Saves valuable floor space while maintaining high thermal output, making it ideal for facilities with limited area.
  • Ease of Operation: The simple, gravity-fed or manual firing system is user-friendly and requires minimal technical expertise to maintain.
  • Robust Construction: Built with heavy-duty materials to withstand the high temperatures of solid fuel combustion, ensuring a long service life and high ROI.
  • Economical Heating: By switching to biomass, industries can save up to 50–70% on fuel costs compared to diesel or electrical heating.

Industries & Applications

The VST-Series is a versatile workhorse used extensively across various sectors that require consistent hot water at temperatures up to 90°C:

  • Hospitality: Centralized hot water for hotels, resorts, and large-scale hostels.
  • Healthcare: Sanitation and laundry requirements for hospitals and clinics.
  • Food & Dairy: Pasteurization, vessel cleaning (CIP), and hot water for commercial kitchens.
  • Textiles: Scouring and dyeing processes that require steady thermal energy.
  • Chemical & Pharma: Heating of process tanks and climate control in production areas.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Biomass Briquette Hot Water Boiler

The vertical design allows for a smaller footprint, making it perfect for facilities where space is at a premium. The smoke-tube configuration ensures that the hot combustion gases pass through tubes surrounded by water, leading to efficient heat transfer and faster warm-up times.

Yes. The furnace is designed with fuel flexibility in mind. You can use either seasoned wood logs or compressed biomass briquettes depending on the cost and availability in your region.

While all solid fuel boilers require a chimney to safely vent flue gases and create a natural draft, the VST-Series is designed to be efficient enough that it does not require the massive, complex exhaust systems seen in larger industrial units.

Maintenance is straightforward. Because it is a vertical design, the smoke tubes are easily accessible for routine cleaning, which is essential to maintain high thermal efficiency when burning solid fuels like wood.

Depending on local fuel prices, biomass heating is typically 3 to 4 times cheaper than electricity and significantly more affordable than diesel (HSD/LDO), often paying for itself within the first year of operation.
