Our customized bag filters are engineered to handle high-volume airflows, temperatures exceeding ambient levels, and challenging particulate matter that standard filters cannot manage.
How the Pulse Jet Filtration System Works
The filtration process utilizes vertically placed tubular filter fabrics (both woven and non-woven). To prevent the bags from collapsing under vacuum or pressure, each bag is supported by a precision-engineered metal cage fitted with a venturi.
- Filtration: Dust-laden air enters the housing, and solids are trapped on the exterior of the filter bags.
- Cleaning Cycle: As the "dust cake" builds up, the bags are cleaned row-by-row using short-timed pulses of compressed air. This can be done online (during operation) or offline.
- The Venturi Effect: A built-in venturi at the top of each cage induces additional air from the clean air plenum, multiplying the cleaning air volume for a more effective "pulse."
- Discharge: The cracked dust cake falls into the collection hopper at the bottom, where it is discharged continuously or periodically through a specialized removal device.
