Features

Oil & Gas Fired Hot Air Generator

The AIRJET Series is a horizontal, three-pass, indirect-fired hot air generator (HAG) engineered for maximum thermal efficiency and operational flexibility. Designed to provide clean, process-ready hot air, the AIRJET can be fired using a variety of liquid and gaseous fuels, including heavy oils, light oils, and natural gas.

Operating Range

  • Capacity – 0.1 million kcal/hr to 2.0 million kcal/hr
  • Fuel- Heavy oils, light oils and gases
  • Temperature- up to 300 ºC

Standalone Thermal Performance

The AIRJET is a complete heating solution that eliminates the need for expensive secondary systems. Unlike traditional setups, it delivers high-temperature air (up to 300°C) directly, without requiring a steam boiler or a thermic fluid heater. This significantly reduces capital investment and simplifies your plant’s infrastructure.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Indirect Fired Design: The process air is heated via a high-efficiency shell-and-shell heat exchanger. This ensures that the combustion gases never mix with the process air, providing clean, uncontaminated hot air for sensitive applications.
  • Three-Pass Heat Recovery: The combustion gases travel through three distinct passes, ensuring maximum heat absorption and superior fuel economy.
  • Multi-Fuel Versatility: Engineered for fuel flexibility, the AIRJET can seamlessly fire LDO, HSD, FO, Natural Gas, or LPG, allowing you to switch based on market costs.
  • Pressure-Free Operation: Achieve process temperatures up to 300°C at atmospheric pressure. This eliminates the safety risks and regulatory hurdles associated with high-pressure pressurized vessels.
  • Robust Construction: Built with high-grade, heat-resistant materials to ensure long-term durability under continuous industrial thermal cycling.

Industry Applications

The AIRJET is the ideal choice for industries that require large volumes of clean, dry hot air:

  • Chemical & Fertilizer: For spray dryers, fluid bed dryers, and rotary dryers.
  • Food & Pharmaceuticals: For drying grains, spices, powders, and herbs where clean air is mandatory.
  • Textiles: For stenter heating, fabric drying, and curing processes.
  • Ceramics & Paint: For oven heating, mold drying, and powder coating booths.
  • Agriculture: For high-capacity seed, tea, and tobacco drying.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Oil & Gas Fired Hot Air Generator

In an indirect-fired generator, the flame and combustion gases stay inside a sealed heat exchanger, while the process air passes over the outside. This prevents soot, CO2, and other combustion byproducts from contaminating your product—essential for food and pharma industries.

Yes. If your process only requires hot air (for drying or space heating), the AIRJET is more efficient because it heats the air directly. You avoid the energy losses associated with heating oil first and then transferring that heat to the air.

No. Since the AIRJET operates at atmospheric pressure (it is not a pressurized boiler), it does not fall under the strict IBR regulations that require a certified boiler operator, making it easier and cheaper to run.

The three-pass design forces the hot gases to travel through the generator three times before exiting the chimney. This gives the air more time to "soak up" the heat, ensuring that very little energy is wasted as exhaust.

Yes. With a dual-fuel burner, you can switch between liquid fuels (like Diesel) and gaseous fuels (like Natural Gas) depending on availability and price, providing your facility with excellent energy security.
