Oil & Gas Fired Thermic Fluid Heater

The DELTAPAC Series represents the pinnacle of industrial thermal oil heating, engineered for high-performance heat transfer using a versatile range of liquid and gaseous fuels. Designed as a horizontal three-pass system, the DELTAPAC ensures maximum residence time for flue gases, resulting in superior thermal efficiency and lower operational costs.

Whether your facility utilizes heavy oils, light oils, or gas, the DELTAPAC provides a reliable, high-temperature heat source while maintaining low operating pressures—making it a safer and more efficient alternative to high-pressure steam systems.

Operating Range

  • Capacity – 0.1 million kcal/hr to 10.0 million kcal/hr
  • Fuel- Heavy oils, light oils and gases
  • Temperature - 300℃

Advanced Three-Pass Thermal Design

The DELTAPAC is built to optimize energy recovery at every stage of the combustion process:

  • Maximum Heat Absorption: The three-pass wet-back design ensures that heat is extracted efficiently before the flue gases exit, reducing fuel consumption.
  • Fuel Versatility: Engineered with a flexible burner system, the DELTAPAC can seamlessly fire Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Light Fuel Oil (LDO), High-Speed Diesel (HSD), Natural Gas, or LPG.
  • High-Temperature Stability: Capable of reaching process temperatures up to 300°C with minimal pressure, ensuring uniform heating for sensitive industrial applications.
  • Robust Construction: Manufactured with high-grade boiler tubes and precision welding, the system is designed for continuous, heavy-duty industrial operation.

Key Operational Advantages

  • Low Operating Pressure: Delivers high-grade heat (up to 300°C) without the extreme pressures required by steam boilers, reducing the risk of explosions and lowering insurance costs.
  • Fully Automatic Operation: Equipped with advanced burner controls and safety interlocks for "Set-and-Forget" reliability.
  • Minimal Thermal Inertia: The coil-type design allows for quick startup and rapid response to load changes in your production line.
  • Easy Maintenance: The horizontal layout provides excellent accessibility for cleaning and inspection of the coils and burner assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Oil & Gas Fired Thermic Fluid Heater

The three-pass design forces the hot combustion gases to travel through the heater three times before exiting. This significantly increases the surface area for heat transfer, ensuring that more energy goes into your thermal oil and less goes out through the chimney.

Yes. The DELTAPAC is designed with fuel flexibility in mind. By utilizing multi-fuel burners, you can switch between liquid fuels (like Diesel or HFO) and gaseous fuels (like Natural Gas) depending on fuel availability and cost-efficiency.

To reach 300°C with steam, you would need extremely high pressures (over 85 kg/cm²), which requires expensive piping and strict regulations. A thermic fluid heater can reach 300°C at near-atmospheric pressure, making it much safer and cheaper to operate.

The DELTAPAC is designed with precise flow velocities within the coils. This ensures that the thermic fluid moves quickly enough to prevent "film temperature" spikes, which are the leading cause of oil carbonization and system clogging.

Routine maintenance includes periodic cleaning of the burner nozzle, checking the oil filter, and conducting "soot blowing" or manual cleaning of the coils to remove combustion deposits, which ensures the heater maintains its high efficiency.
