Biomass Briquette Fired Hot Air Generator
The AIRMAX Series is a robust, horizontal four-pass indirect-fired hot air generator designed for maximum thermal efficiency. Engineered with absolute fuel flexibility in mind, the AIRMAX is the ideal solution for industries looking to utilize wood, coal, biomass briquettes, or other solid fuels to generate high-temperature clean air.
By employing an Indirect Fired Shell and Tube design, the AIRMAX ensures that the process air never comes into direct contact with the combustion gases. This results in 100% clean, soot-free hot air, making it perfect for sensitive industrial drying and processing applications.
Operating Range
- Capacity – 0.1 million kcal/hr to 1.0 million kcal/hr
- Fuel- wood, coal, brickets, any type solid fuel.
- Temperature- up to 300 ºC
Advanced Four-Pass Heat Transfer
The AIRMAX distinguishes itself with a sophisticated Four-Pass Design. As the hot combustion gases travel through the shell and tube heat exchanger four times, the surface area for heat transfer is maximized. This ensures:
- Superior Fuel Economy: Maximum heat extraction from the solid fuel.
- Rapid Heating: Reaches the desired process temperature quickly.
- Low Emissions: Optimized combustion path reduces environmental impact.
Key Features & Advantages
- Ultimate Fuel Flexibility: Specifically designed to fire wood logs, coal, biomass briquettes, and various agricultural waste fuels.
- Atmospheric Operation: Delivers high process temperatures (up to 300°C) without the need for operating pressures, enhancing plant safety.
- Indirect Heating: Guaranteed clean air output, preventing any contamination of the final product.
- Robust Construction: Heavy-duty shell and tube heat exchanger built to withstand high thermal stresses and ensure a long service life.
- Easy Maintenance: The horizontal design provides easy access for cleaning ash and inspecting the tube bundles.
Industry Applications
The AIRMAX is a versatile heating solution widely used across several sectors:
- Chemical & Pharma: For drying powders, granules, and heat-sensitive chemicals.
- Food Processing: Ideal for drying grains, tea, spices, and dehydrated vegetables.
- Textiles: For stenter heating and fabric drying processes.
- Paper & Packaging: For paper coating drying and corrugated sheet manufacturing.
- Ceramics & Minerals: For curing and drying various mineral-based products.
